I stumbled upon this company while searching for contractors. They quickly provided a quote, and unlike other companies, the price was incredibly reasonable! Other companies often push for better, more expensive, or faster work, which was disappointing, but these companies didn’t do that at all. My windows are bay windows, so I was worried they wouldn’t look great, but they match the existing wall paint perfectly, and the blackout curtains block out the sunlight perfectly. Since we were ordering during the Chuseok holiday, we expected it to take longer, but delivery was surprisingly quick, and the installation was quick and clean. The people that helped order and install the shades were courteous and helpful. But…. They did not contact me as soon as the materials were ready to be installed. I had to call them when I perceived that the order was late to schedule installation. Also, the curtain representatives were unclear when discussing what would become of the old shades. They left the old shades and the boxes the new shades neatly tied n front of my house, but it is ridiculous that your installation process does not include removal and disposal of such materials.

We are so glad that we chose The Curtain. From the begining they took their time with us and gave us good advice so we were able to pick the perfect shades. Also, our windows had a section which made installing the shades difficult but to our surprise they purchased a special tool to install the blinds seamlessly at no charge to us, It only took half day to install and the team worked great together…very organized. The blinds went up and it looked so sleek. We were impressed and please with the work. Couple months later, one of our windows opened up during a heavy rain storm and damaged the blind. We’ve contacted The Curtain about the damaged blind. They scheduled someone to come in and fixed it right away. We were so thankful for their promptness. The Curtain customer service was outstanding and craftsmanship was excellent. The next project is for us to get new blinds for the 1st floor…we’ll definitely be using The Curtain again.

I will definitely recommend The Curtain to my friends! First of the all, their price is very competitive compared to The Shade Store. Secondly, our windows are very special and tricky and the Shade Store strongly recommend the roman shades for our windows because of this situation. But their installation guys are very professional. They figured out a unique way to install blackout curtains + sheer curtains to my double soundproof windows which are 4" sticking out from the wall. After the installation, the bedroom looks so different - it looks so much more elegant and welcoming now. Thirdly, the guys were also very nice and they helped me move the heavy bed and rug to where I want them to be. Otherwise, I won’t be able to sleep in that room the same day. Though one of the curtain rods fell off because shorter screws were initially used for that bracket, they immediately sent the installation team to fix the issue same day. I really appreciate the fast response. I will give them a five star rating and also use them for my future new houses for sure.

If you’ve been thinking about getting new window treatments but keep putting it off because you’re afraid the process will be too complicated or it will cost too much, just call The Curtain. Within days after calling for an estimate, they came out to my house with samples, and within record time they obtained measurements and gave me an estimate. We chose the house brand which is reasonably priced and great quality. Only two weeks later, we had beautiful shades installed for 30 windows in only an hour. Our house looks so much nicer and classier with these new shades. I just wish that I had called The Curtain sooner.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but The Curtain is an exception. I spent hours trying to get quotes from the big guys (Shade Store and Interior Motif), and was punted back with a 2 week wait to even get a quote. Interior Motif even told me I had to come with window measurements if I wanted to schedule a meeting. The Curtain, on the other hand, was extremely quick and professional. Mr. Park came to measure our windows and give us a quote within a few hours after calling, and was still much cheaper than the Shade Store. The folks here were dedicated to get our installation done in less than 2 weeks after the quote. When they arrived for installation, they were done and out within a couple hours, and cleaned up superbly. We chose their proprietary fabrics and Somfy motors, and look of the highest quality (I couldn’t tell the difference between these and Hunter Douglas products). If you want speediness and old-fashioned good customer care, go with these guys.

I didn’t order Hunter Douglas but their house brand is also very high quality but half the price. ++they installed the blind very quick! Only 30m/10 blinds! And Very nice job!!! Thank you!!!

I just want to start saying that their product quality and customer oriented service are greatly amazing and impressive. My situation is to change the only one living room window blind which were installed 10 yeas ago and reached out to them if they have almost same one in stock. They finally found the invoice when it was installed 10 years ago and suggested 99.99% same blind. They very try to schedule and adjust the right time for a customer and successfully installed. My home has floor to ceiling windows.so I had to custom order the shades from Hunter Douglas. Initially they said it takes up to 8 weeks. But the blind coordinated quick order processing and they installed within 4 weeks. Excellent blinds and look perfect in my modern home. I am extremely happy with the 10 customized blinds that I had ordered because the owners did not try to oversell but offered affordable options for my new windows. I feel like their price was very competitive and the entire ordering to installation process was effortless.

The blinds are made with high quality material. My family are very satisfied with the product and services! They were quick in responding to the messages and always was on time for installation.

The true test of service is on display when issues come up with the any of the products /blinds installed. Unfortunately, our Luminette Privacy Sheers clips broke during Thanksgiving. Our original installer had to wait for parts to be shipped and then schedule an outside source to fix the shades. The advertised turn around time for repairs is currently 3-6 weeks (as of the date of this review). This is when we discovered The Curtain. The staff was highly professional and worked to expedite the repairs. They had the replacement parts available and fitted us into their schedule to repair our shades. We discovered the difference first hand between the stores that are mainly just sales / showrooms vs stores that have a more complete offering for the customer.

I have 9 year old Hunter Douglas blinds that had broken and were out of warrantee, we called them to replace the blinds instead they replaced the broken part for a fraction of the cost, They were professional, pleasant and efficient!! I would definitely call them in the future!!

Professional and quick service

Recently I had an issue with my Luminette window treatment I purchased from The Curtain about three years ago. Jeff and his team at The Curtain had done a great job installing window treatments in my condo three years ago. This time too they were responsive, courteous and professional throughout the entire process of replacing the motor. They had to visit my place twice—first, to assess what the issue is, and second, to replace the motor. We had to reschedule the second visit a few times due to a delay in the new motor shipment. They kept me up to date with the shipment status and accommodated to my schedule to minimize any inconvenience. Really appreciate their help and professionalism!

I moved into a new condo and wanted to replace the curtains that the previous owners left behind. Went to their showroom in Palisades Park and they were very professional and helpful in determining which product I wanted and how to proceed with the installation process. The associates were very knowledgeable and the whole process of putting the blinds I wanted went flawlessly. Looking forward to inquire again for further projects such as painting and maybe curtains/blinds later on when I move into a new house!

Super professional, courteous, helpful, and easy to reach. They installed all of our window treatments in our new home, answered all of our questions, and made great recommendations. They also had to come back a few times after one of our shades broke, and worked with the original vendor to get a us a reasonable price (even though it wasn’t covered under warranty). Highly recommend The Curtain for any window treatment needs. The team came for a home consultation and showed us all the available options across various price range (from hunter douglas to the Korean-made cheaper alternatives) and explained pros and cons for each products including color options which helped us a lot in deciding which products suit us best. Consultation took around 1.5hours and we felt they really took the time to understand our needs and answer our questions to suggest which products would fit. We went for the cost effective option and couldn’t be happier as the products looked even better when installed. Note that we had 3 other companies who quoted us similar products for 2-3 times the cost so it was a fairly easy decision to go with them! Installation was fast around an hour for 25 windows and 2 sliding doors. Overall a great experience!

We visited this place after checking out other Hunter Douglas authorized specialists, blinds-to-go, home depot and etc. We entered without any expectation since price was too high or materials for roller blinds weren’t up to our liking at other places. Fortunately for us, this place’s staff was really friendly/informative and took time to hear our needs/wants and recommended roller blinds that would fit our situation. At the end, they offered us great product at a price much lower than other dealers. Once we settled on the roller blinds, it came within 3 weeks and installation only took 30 mins for 5 windows. Installation was fast and professionally done with all adjustments made before they left. Now my windows look great without looking cluttered.

Highly recommended. Our 20 year old vertical blinds were falling apart, so we started shopping around for replacement blinds for our all of windows and patio doors. Not finding anything we liked in various outlets and online, on a tip we stopped by early October and near their closing time. The staff took their time explaining our options, the cost, and the non-cost pros/cons of each type of blind, and our options for the extra wide windows. After making our tentative choice (banded shades), we setup an appointment a few days later, for someone in their team to come by in order to take measurements, get some advice on the colors (to match room and furniture tones), and materials, etc. On the appointed day they called ahead and showed up at the agreed upon time. After the measurements were done we were quoted a very reasonable price for 11 windows and two patio doors (under $2000 at this time of writing, for nine banded shades) which included installation, a one year warranty, and a delivery time of three weeks. After a little over two weeks, we were contacted to setup an installation date and time. Once again, at the agreed-upon date they called ahead and at the promised time they showed up and removed then installed everything within an hour. Overall, the entire purchase and installation process was hassle free, we never felt pressured to choose the expensive options (we ultimately settled on a more affordable banded shades), and their team was timely and punctual.

These guys came out for a consult and gave us a good estimate. We were leaning towards using them but when we reached out with further questions before making a final decision, they said they would get back to us but never did. No response to my email and no call-back. Guess they weren’t interested in our business. Luckily we found a similar product at an even better price elsewhere.

The owner said installing blinds was the most difficult part of the year, lol. Because of the high ceilings, we needed a long ladder, and for safety, he and another person came to install it. He came before the installation to carefully measure the blinds, and he was so helpful with setting them up. I’m so happy I got the blinds I love!!!!! The owner told me to move to a place with lower ceilings next time... I’ll keep that in mind. lol. Thank you so much for your kind service!!! I highly recommend this place!!!! we did changed all blinds on our new house recently. The consultation on design and choosing a color on the product was very smooth and very professional process. Furthermore, the price of blinds were very reasonable and affordable to our budget. Most importantly, their service was really great and we had a really great experience with them.
